Nelson Montero, based on the original novel “Volver a Morir” by ROSANA UBANELL is the first private detective with Latino heritage ever to lead a TV series in English and Spanish, and a Motion Picture to be filmed in trough all America, featuring LUIS GUZMAN. Montero is a daring, funny, and street-wise – but somewhat scruffy – private investigator. His look is far removed from the usual detectives seen in similar TV series in this genre, but he captivates the audience with his peculiar charm. One of his great abilities is that he can imitate any Latin American accent, apart from speaking unorthodox English, despite being his first language.

The Quest for the Fountain of Youth

Our production will bring Ponce de León, Menéndez de Avilés and Escalante de Fontaneda back alive, the most intense moments of their respective trips to La Florida, so we’ll be able to get closer to their personas, lives and adventures as Conquistadors.The story develops in each place and location where they were almost 500 years ago, looping for the traces of their presences there. With the reenactments of actors and shooting in the exact same locations they once were, it will show a vibrant narration that will truly captivate the audience, while learning historical facts of past times.

The documentary will be centered around the city of San Agustín. It will expose a rich historical and cultural world, which undoubtedly will serve to promote international tourism in this ancient and beautiful city.

We will count with actors and extras to reenact the past and bring San Agustín’s wonderful history to life. This is a unique project that needs everyone’s participation. This is a production that will be prepared with the latest technology in film industry to assure the high quality of the final images.

This production is not just a historical narrative documentary, but rather a historically accurate film production using reenactments of Indians and Spanish settlements and including actors and extras who will transport us back to the early years of La Florida’s history.
